"Treat people how they should be treated and they will come back time and time again," Patterson said. "Many people have bought on emotions and paid too much money in the past, and now they see how much time and money can be saved. We're like an insurance policy against being taken advantage of."

Mr. Patterson believes the high-pressure sales tactics used by some car salesmen takes the fun out of buying a new car. "We put the fun and excitement back into buying," Patterson said. This new form of car buying has become more widely used and respected each year since Patterson began his business 27 years ago. Patterson's involvement with the car industry began in the late 1960s when he washed cars after school. At that point he fell in love with cars and set a goal of becoming part of the automotive industry. After college, he began working for a car dealership and later rose to assistant manager and then general manager.
